The staff at Lee Lawyers has extensive experience in commercial law, insurance and legal risk management.
Much of our practical approach comes from being active in our community. Our professional staff are Gold Coast District Law Association and Queensland Law Society members.
All our team are Gold Coast community members, ranging from participation in local Chambers of Commerce, schools, sports teams and countless other clubs and associations.
In addtion our principal has been accepted by his peers to qualify as a notary public, which of course is only available to a handful of senior lawyers in Queensland.

Ross Lee
B.Econ, LL.B
Notary Public, Principal
Our principal Ross Lee believes in a business built on reputation, not smoke and mirrors. He takes pride in his attention to detail, client care and results.
Commercial dispute resolution and litigation is a particular focus for our principal, including experience in building, bodies corporate, property and insolvency matters. Ross continues to have ongoing matters in the higher courts and takes a tough, solutions based approach to resolving disputes for clients.
As a legal consultant, Ross Lee has also advised government and larger businesses on legal risk management, including insurance gap analysis. Beneficiaries of Ross' advice are diverse, ranging from: city councils, national companies and professional associations, to numerous Gold Coast SME's.
Prior to entering the law Ross Lee had a 9 year career as an insurance professional in underwriting, claims and loss adjusting. For this reason, major personal injury and insurance claim disputes in the region and indeed nationally continue to be referred to Ross. Where matters require such a background (and insight), Ross continues to obtain great results.
Ross has earned some peer recognition, being voted and returned unopposed to presidency of the Gold Coast District Law Association in 2010 and 2011. As a senior lawyer of suitable character and experience he has been appointed by the Court of Faculties, London as a Notary Public. By invitation, he regularly presents and chairs seminar presentations for the profession.
Our principal is also the Insurance chapter author of the Queensland Law Handbook , published by the Caxton Legal Centre Inc, the state's largest community legal service.
Ross represents the third generation of a Gold Coast small business family, first settling and running business ventures in Gold Coast in 1943. His family enjoys being involved in the community, one mark of which is a central Surfers Paradise beachfront park named after his grandmother Eileen Peters (on The Esplanade just south of the mall). Mrs Peters was a city councillor for Surfers Paradise and ran the original Progress Association Meter Maid service.
Outside of work Ross is a family man, spending quality time with wife, two children, friends and of course the pet beagle.
